PBS Kids

For its morning preschool block, PBS Kids decided to create a three-hour supershow from which all the regular programming could launch. Primal Screen created the set, the open and graphics, the shooting and edit, the music and Hooper, a fully-rendered CGI guinea pig with lots of screen time. So far the open has won awards from BDA, Promax and Create.

Dot’s Story Factory

In support of PBS Kids’ morning show, Primal Screen built this fun storytelling activity for the Web. Kids tell a story using crayons, stickers and text. The activity has three stages Beginning, Middle and End. If they want, Dot can guide and prompt kids through the process. Afterward they can submit their story to a friend and to Dot. Everyday on the show a story is read and displayed. One of the most popular pieces of content on PBS Kids.
